Sherry ROWLAND Little -
I graduated from Overton High School in 1964 and entered Memphis State University the following fall. I attended for three years before the lure of making money drew my attention away.

I always loved working around the airport industry and so I ended up joining a small but interesting company in February of 1973 called Federal Express. I have worked at FedEx for 35 years now and am currently the assistant in media relations where I work with some amazing young people. My manager was actually born the year I started to work at FedEx. I may retire in three and a half years but then again - who knows.

I married in 1976 and have one child, Jason, who returned from Iraq last fall and is working at the FedEx hub. He was stationed in Europe while in the army and ended up marrying a British girl, Jill. They are currently living with me in Collierville. I divorced in 2002, right before my father passed away, so my mother and I went together and got a home together in Collierville. My sister, Pamela, who has MS, also lives with us at our home. It's been very interesting to live with your family again after 27 years on your own.

Rudy A. RYAN - Married, 3 children, Living in Knoxville, TN. Working in Oak Ridge, TN. Hobbies: dulcimer, racquetball, camping, swimming
Betty Lynn SMITH Barry. I received a Doctor of Education degree in counseling and personnel services from Memphis State University in 1984. In May, 2004, I retired from Memphis City Schools after 35 years' service.  My last 13 years were spent at Shrine School for children with disabilities, where I was the school counselor. I have been married to my husband, Brian, for 35 years.  We have no children, but my 91 year old mother lives with us. We are active members of First Baptist Church, Fisherville.
Cheryle STRAIT Fisher - I graduated from Overton in 1964 and went to Colonial Elementary and Junior High before that. I graduated from college, married and after several years, had a daughter. I lived in Nashville, Miami, back to Nashville and then in the Atlanta area for over 20 years. I divorced and moved back to Memphis 5 years ago. In 2002  I ran into former classmate Larry Cooper at Central Church one Sunday.  He was divorced as well, and we dated off and on for four years.  We were just getting things all worked out when he became quite ill and was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Since he was no longer able to care for himself, friends helped me move him out of his apartment and into mine. I took care of him with help from Hospice for the next 73 days until his death in December,  2005. I have a 6 year old grandson that gives me great joy. I also have Coco, a rescue dog, that I adopted at the 2004 St. Jude Showcase of Dogs. Larry helped me make the contacts to find her. I am in the process of buying a house and trying to move on with my life as Larry wanted but I miss the sweet, caring person that he was.
