Overton High School - Memphis, Tennessee
Reunion of the First Graduating Classes 1962-65

Where are they Now?

June BALDRIDGE Freeman - I have been married to Don for 36 years. We have 3 children; one lives in Memphis, TN, one in Hernando, MS, and one in St. Augustine, FL with his wife. We have no grandchildren. We make up for that by rescuing homeless cats. We have eight felines.... at  the last nose count. For almost 20 years, we have lived in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, but a move back to Memphis, TN is planned in the near future.  I am a lady of leisure now, but I worked over 30 years in data processing for various companies in Memphis...Malone and Hyde, Inc., Orgill Brothers Wholesale Hardware & Co, and The Internal Revenue Service.  My time is now spent gardening, exercising, reading, writing, doing arts and crafts, and hanging out with my husband. I love my computer and e-mailing old friends and making new ones.
Jeane BOYD - Sorry I didn't know about the 2007 reunion -- I would have been there. Would love to hear from ya'll (see, my southern accent is still intact, even tho I live in Oklahoma). Was wife of Army Officer for 30 years. Am now divorced. Have 3 sons, no grandchildren. I live on 4 acres. I have to work part time, but spend as much time as possible visiting with my children and  taking care of my dogs, cats and horse. I'd love to hear from folks.
Jerry CHANDLER - is a member of the organizing committee for the reunion. Jerry was class president of the class of '63, and is now President of J.D. Chandler & Associates. Started my own business consisting of consulting in the logistics industry, as well as being in the commercial and industrial real estate business serving all over the U.S. and internationally. I have one son, Clayton, born in 1979, who recently married my precious daughter-in-law from Dallas. My wife, Anita, died in 2002. I recently down-sized my home and I am enjoying it. I really enjoy socializing with friends, especially those from our days at Overton.

When I retired from Army I attended Austin Peay State University (Clarksville, Tn)  and obtained a A.O.S degree, Law Enforcement and Police Administration and B.S. in Sociology in '87. I had a heart attack just before graduation and no one wanted to hire someone with a bad ticker. So I opened a small business dealing in antiques, collectibles and junk that I ran for nearly 20 years. I grew up in East Memphis having attended Sea Isle, Colonial, and Overton and would enjoy communicating with any that may remember me. My email: waymac90 at peoplestel.net

I am the sole owner and Manager of Litigation Consultants, in Dallas, Texas, which performs investigations for municipalities, corporations, small businesses and  lawfirms throughout the United States--primarily in the form of comprehensive background and assets investigations. I am enjoying finding missing classmates so that we can invite everyone! While they are not part of what I normally do in the course and scope of my business, I am enjoying helping out and find that this is an interesting diversion.  I will continue to submit information as I have time.
