The 50th Anniversary of Overton High School is fast approaching!

Overton was chartered in 1959, opened its doors in 1960, and graduated its first class in 1962. That's right -- the Class of '62 were seniors for three years!

is Saturday, June 26 from 7:30-11:30 pm at Woodland Hills Country Club. Deadline to pay is June 16.

The Class of 1981 -- 30th reunion

We are inviting classmates that graduated from Watkins Overton High School Class of 1981 and for those who graduated a year early but otherwise would have been in our graduating class to join. This group is to inform the members about our 30th class reunion scheduled for July 23, 2011 (Saturday) at the Butcher Shop Steakhouse's Grand Ballroom located at 107 S. Germantown Parkway, Cordova, TN.

Tentatively, the cost will be $50 per person which will cover dinner and a live band. Dinner will include choice of 8 oz Filet Mignon, 16 oz New York Strip, Fresh Atlantic Salmon or Chargrilled Chicken Breasts. All entrees will be served with garden salad, baked potato and hot bread. Price includes non alcholic beverage and a dessert. There will be a cash bar.

The Volman band reunion was a great success. The group includes Overton band members from 1967 to 1974. These are basically the Larry Volman years. Larry and Martha Volman attended the event.
